A number of reasons such as weight loss, genetics and normal aging process can cause the skin to lose its firmness and sag. The surgery consists in removing the excess sagging tissues from the thigh and close by tightening the skin to reveal a firmer shape.
This procedure is often combined with other body contouring operations such as bodylift, arm – lift or liposuction. The skin of those patients has been subject to stretch during the excess of weight and elasticity has not returned to normal.
