What is Erapeel?
How does EraPeel work?
Aerolase Era is a laser skin resurfacing machine, which uses light and heat to eliminate damaged skin cells all at once. Erapeel® treatment offers complete epidermal renewal in a single treatment instead of multiple treatments and periods of downtime with fractional devices.
EraPeel® Different Applications
EraPeel provides the premium solution for eliminating visible signs of aging on the face, neck, chest, and hands.

Wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, brown spots or patches, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone and texture, scars, acne scars, skin tags, and lesions
Erapeel® Treatment Levels
EraPeel® has 3 levels of treatments depending on the indication and the age of the patient.
REFRESH: Erapeel® Refresh is for those that want minimal to no periods of downtime. This treatment refreshes the superficial laser of skin tissue, resulting in a smooth, glowing appearance. This is great for large pores and uneven skin texture. This procedure results in little to no downtime.
REVEAL: Erapeel® Reveal treatment is great for those who want to eliminate sun damage, reduce browns spots or patches, and erase fine lines. With this level of treatment, flaking or peeling may be present for 5-7 days.
RENEW: Erapeel® Renew is a deeper procedure to completely renew the skin’s epidermal tissue.Renew uses a deep penetrating laser to completely renew the skin’s epidermal tissue. By doing so, the individual will see a dramatic improvement with their deep wrinkles, extensive sun damage, brown spots or patches, and acne scars. After Erapeel® Renew treatment, the recovery time is usually between 8 and 12 days.
• Peels away old layers of dead skin cells, leaving perfect younger-looking, healthier skin behind.
• Promotes collagen production to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and scars
• EraPeel® Treatment is less painful than any other peeling treatment
• No touching of the skin, which allows exceptional visual control, hygiene and treatment comfort.
How is my consultation conducted?
At your consultation, we will discuss your needs and concerns about having the Aerolase EraPeel Skin Resurfacing laser performed against your face. We will determine what need level you’re qualified to undergo treatment at before laser enlisted. At a laser skin resurfacing appointment at our Clinic, we typically performs non-ablative lasers for patients who need treatment of problematic changes on their face but not deep facial skin damage or removal. Sun tanning before laser resurfacing should be avoided and broad-spectrum sun protection should be used when possible.
How do you prepare?
Start by consulting a doctor about whether or not you’re a candidate for laser skin resurfacing. The skin clinic will ask you to tell them if you get cold sores or fever blisters around your mouth. If you decide to go ahead with it, be sure to stop taking any medication or supplements. Smoking can delay healing. Your doctor may prescribe an antibiotic medication beforehand to prevent bacterial infections and also a post-viral medication if you’re more likely to get cold sores or fever blisters.
How many sessions do you think I will need?
It depends on your skin condition. If you have a lot of wrinkles and uneven pigmentation, then it will take more than one session to get the desired results. On the other hand, if you just want to lighten your skin tone and get rid of the sun spots, then you can have one session. The number of sessions will also depend on how thick or thin your skin is.
How should I take care of my skin after laser resurfacing?
It is extremely important to follow your doctor’s post-operative instructions. He or she will advise you on how to care for your skin and what to expect as the recovery progresses.
You should avoid exposure to the sun for at least two weeks. You should also avoid using any products that contain alcohol, retinol or alpha hydroxy acids until your doctor says it is okay to do so
What outcome can I expect after laser skin resurfacing?
Laser skin resurfacing can correct signs of aging and sun damage by removing damaged layers of the epidermis. This will result in an even tone, smooth texture, younger looking complexion, and overall skin rejuvenation.
Laser skin resurfacing can also improve acne scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
