What is Erapeel Skin Resurfacing Treatment?
As we age, the skin that protects us from harsh sunlight becomes thin and softer. Sometimes, different aspects of our skin may seem to develop or even change for the worse. How does EraPeel work?
Aerolase Era is a laser skin resurfacing machine, which uses light and heat to eliminate damaged skin cells all at once. Erapeel® treatment offers complete epidermal renewal in a single treatment instead of multiple treatments and periods of downtime with fractional devices.

Erapeel® Treatment Levels
EraPeel® has 3 levels of treatments depending on the indication and the age of the patient:
REFRESH
Erapeel® Refresh is for those that want minimal to no periods of downtime. This treatment refreshes the superficial laser of skin tissue, resulting in a smooth, glowing appearance. This is great for large pores and uneven skin texture. This procedure results in little to no downtime.
REVEAL
Erapeel® Reveal treatment is great for those who want to eliminate sun damage, reduce browns spots or patches, and erase fine lines. With this level of treatment, flaking or peeling may be present for 5-7 days.
RENEW
Erapeel® Renew is a deeper procedure to completely renew the skin’s epidermal tissue.Renew uses a deep penetrating laser to completely renew the skin’s epidermal tissue. By doing so, the individual will see a dramatic improvement with their deep wrinkles, extensive sun damage, brown spots or patches, and acne scars. After Erapeel® Renew treatment, the recovery time is usually between 8 and 12 days.

Frequently Asked Questions
During your consultation, our doctor will assess your skin, determine if you are a candidate and what level of Erapeel treatment is needed.
Remove any make-up and/or lotions and make sure that the skin is dry in the area to be treated. Sun tanning before laser resurfacing should be avoided.
Immediately after treatment, you should apply a basic moisturizing ointment (e.g. Aquaphor). DO NOT apply makeup or any type of skincare product or lotion to the treated area while the skin regrowth is occurring – Our practitioner will provide you with specific guidance on the timing. Reapply the ointment at least 4 times daily to keep the skin moist while healing. Wash the area gently with warm water but no soap. You should avoid extended sun exposure or tanning for at least 6-8 weeks post treatment
